The facility is established as a free rural clinic, named the Assa Clinic, offering treatment for both urgent issues as well as care for chronic medical conditions. Patients can expect to receive care for a wide array of conditions that do not require in-patient treatment, such as hypertension, diabetes, acute infections, viral illness, etc. At this time, the clinic is staffed by one doctor and one pharmacist.
